A Few Changes Around Here: Monthly Recaps, Recipes, and a New Language
Slower recaps, some macro-friendly recipes, and the blog going multilingual - here's what's changing on mounjaroblog.com and why.
Three things are changing around here. Nothing dramatic, just enough that I wanted to say it plainly instead of you noticing on your own and wondering what happened.
Recaps are going monthly
Weekly recaps made sense early on - there was a lot moving fast (2.5mg starter, first side effects, the first real numbers). Four weeks in, that’s slowed down, and so has my time to write every single week. So from here on, recaps will mostly be monthly instead of weekly.
This isn’t me losing interest. It’s the opposite, actually - the plateau at 117kg for three weeks straight already showed me that week-to-week numbers don’t always tell an honest story. A month gives the data room to actually mean something before I write about it.
New recipes are coming
I’ve had a few people ask what I actually eat day to day beyond the quinoa-beef meal prep post. So I’m putting together a small batch of recipes built specifically around good macros and staying under my ~2,021 kcal max - not diet food, just meals that happen to fit the number without extra thinking. Those will start showing up under their own RECIPE tag soon.
The blog is going multilingual
Mounjaroblog.com has been English-only since launch, but that’s about to change. At least one more language is coming soon - probably German first, given where I’m based. Nothing to click on yet, just a heads-up before it happens.
Why say all this in one post
Could’ve folded these into three separate announcements later, but that felt like padding. Easier to just tell you now, then let the actual monthly recap, the actual recipes, and the actual translated posts speak for themselves when they show up.
Thanks for reading!
